Bloat Ade (Legume Bloat Control) Legume bloat occurs when cattle or sheep consume highly digestible bloat prone legumes. The soluble leaf proteins produce very stable foam which prevents the valve releasing gas from the rumen. The alcohol ethoxylate in Bloat Ade breaks down the foam allowing the gas to escape. If possible allow stock to access blocks prior to the anticipated season.
Why use Bloat Ade?

Magfertet(Grass Tetany) Grass tetany is most common in adult cows and ewes especially when in heavy lactation and grazing lush grass pastures. It may also occur in cattle that are grazing cereal crops or when cattle are undernourished in cold wet weather. Signs – affected cows may suddenly throw their heads, bellow, and gallop in a wild and frenzied manner fall and develop convulsions. Prevention – place Agricon’s Magfertet blocks out early, one month before expected time of trouble. Magfertet has been formulated for good acceptance.

Molasses based for palatability

Newe Tra Lamb
Newe tra lamb is a good source of energy, protein and minerals. It is ideal to feed to starving stock before being fed Optigro 4. By feeding Newe tra Lamb 6-8 weeks before lambing, milk production may improve, resulting in heavier lambs. Heavier lambs have a greater chance of survival. As some ewes will have twins, extra nutrition will help the ewes to gain weight and keep up their milk production.
Why use Newe tra Lamb?
Improved milk production
Can assist ewes to gain weight
Optigro 4, 7, 10 blocks are high in cottonseed meal, giving them a good level of natural bypass protein with less dependence on urea. They also has good levels of phosphorus and calcium which means it is the ideal block for young growing stock. Optigro 7 is very useful as protein supplement for breeders. Like all our blocks it is molasses based and packed in an edible cardboard carton. Optigro 7 can be used as a “starter” block, before moving on to a higher urea block such as Drimol 10 or Drimol 15.
Optigro is available in Optigro 4 Sheep, Optigro 7 and Optigro 10.
Why use Optigro?
High level of cottonseed meal can help to maintain growth rate
