Feedlot 40 & Feedlot 40 Plus
Feedlot 40 is a molasses based feedlot concentrate that contains all the essential ingredients to make a balanced feedlot ration. It is easily pumped which reduces manual handling when compared to conventional concentrates. Feedlot 40 also reduces dust, decreases the amount of fines that will separate out of the ration and helps make rations more palatable. It is suitable to use in both silage or grain based rations. Like all of our feedlot concentrates Feedlot 40 contains Lasalocid to improve growth rate and feed conversion.
Why use Feedlot 40?
Mixes well in all feeds
Phos N Pro
Phos N Pro 7 11 15 20 lick blocks contain phosphorus and urea which are important in fibre digestion, maintaining feed intake and healthy bone structure. Breeders that calve in good body condition will start cycling earlier. This means that breeders need good nutrition management.
Phos N Pro can be fed to replacement heifers which will assist their growth phase to meet the production target of 650g/day for them to cycle at 15 months of age. Phos N Pro blocks are hard, palatable and weather proof.
Why use Phos N Pro?
High phosphorus with protein
Improved fertility in poor country
Increased milk production in lactating stock
Can be fed all year round
Practical levels of urea
Supersulf and Supersulf S16 (High in Sulphur) is one of the only molasses based, high sulphur blocks available on the market. This means that it is both weatherproof and palatable. Supersulf contains 12% sulphur while Supersulf S16 contains 16% sulphur. Supersulf is formulated to be fed out when grazing forage sorghum to improve growth rates and reduce the risk of cyanide poisoning. While forage sorghum is being digested in the rumen, prussic acid (hydrogen cyanide) may be released, which can be fatal to stock. More commonly though, it may be present at low levels which can greatly reduce weight gains.
Forage sorghums are also low in sodium and the combination of supplementing with both salt and sulphur can have a substantial effect on the actual weight gains achieved.
Why use Supersulf?
Reduces risk of prussic acid poisoning
Newe Tra Lamb
Newe tra lamb is a good source of energy, protein and minerals. It is ideal to feed to starving stock before being fed Optigro 4. By feeding Newe tra Lamb 6-8 weeks before lambing, milk production may improve, resulting in heavier lambs. Heavier lambs have a greater chance of survival. As some ewes will have twins, extra nutrition will help the ewes to gain weight and keep up their milk production.
Why use Newe tra Lamb?
Improved milk production
Can assist ewes to gain weight
Bloat Ade (Legume Bloat Control) Legume bloat occurs when cattle or sheep consume highly digestible bloat prone legumes. The soluble leaf proteins produce very stable foam which prevents the valve releasing gas from the rumen. The alcohol ethoxylate in Bloat Ade breaks down the foam allowing the gas to escape. If possible allow stock to access blocks prior to the anticipated season.
Why use Bloat Ade?
Contains 10% alcohol
Palatable molasses based block
Convenient and easy pasture management
Supermix – Feedlot Concentrate
Supermix – Feedlot Concentrate
Supermix is a balanced and economical feedlot concentrate that supplies urea, phosphorus, calcium, vitamins and minerals. For your convenience, it is formulated so that you simply add 1 x 30kg bag per tonne when mixing the feed. Supermix also contains Lasalocid Sodium which is a rumen modifier. This is important because high grain diets are not natural for ruminants. Using Supermix can enable you to achieve faster growth rate and better feed conversion. Supermix has a proven record of excellent performance with both cattle and lambs. Also available in Supermix Salt Free
Why use Supermix?
Convenient – 1 bag / tonne
Faster weight gain
Improved feed efficiency
Less feedlot bloats
